Established on the 13th of July 2001 (hence the superficially cryptic name), 130701 has played a pioneering role in the development of today’s vibrant post-classical landscape. Once home to genre-defining and now globally influential artists such Max Richter, Hauschka, Dustin O’Halloran, Sylvain Chauveau, and Golden Globe winner/double Oscar nominee Jóhann Jóhannsson, 130701 continues to embody graceful, evocative and emotionally–charged music with an eclectic, yet coherently unified, roster of instrument–based artists including Shida Shahabi, Clarice Jensen, Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch, Resina, Emil Friis & Patricio Fraile, Rutger Hoedemaekers and Yair Elazar Glotman & Mats Erlandsson.
